AMMAN — Health Minister Saad Jaber on Monday said that the Kingdom’s only coronavirus patient and his colleague, who are currently isolated in Prince Hamzah Hospital, have tested negative for the virus.
Jaber told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that tests conducted on the infected patient and his colleague showed that they are “completely free” of the virus. Both will be tested again on Friday according to the testing procedures followed by the World Health Organisation, which requires that tests be redone four days after the last test to confirm the result.
The minister said that if the test results on Friday match Monday’s results, the patient’s recovery will be announced, and the man and his colleague will be released from isolation and allowed to leave the hospital, Petra reported.
