King tweets Hijri New Year’s greetings

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday took to Twitter to mark the occasion of the New Hijri Year, congratulating the Arab and Islamic nations on the occasion, which falls on Wednesday.

"From the memory of the noble Prophet's migration, we draw lessons in sacrifice and loyalty, in the pursuit of upholding the word of truth. Wishing our people, as well as the Arab and Islamic nations, all the best on this occasion," the King tweeted in Arabic.
