King, Erdogan discuss ties over the phone

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Saturday received a phone call from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a Royal Court statement said.
During the call the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and latest regional developments.
On Friday, His Majesty received similar calls from Saudi King Salman Bin Abdulaziz and Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi
The leaders discussed ties with Jordan and issues of mutual interest, voicing keenness on enhancing cooperation in various fields.
Jordan has been receiving calls of support amid protests against economic policies the Kingdom has seen over the past ten days, which came to halt on Thursday after the government of Hani Mulki resigned and the former education minister, Omar Razzaz, was designated to form a new Cabinet.
