King attends funeral of former PM Fayez Tarawneh

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday participated in the funeral of former prime minister and former Royal Court chief Fayez Tarawneh who was laid to rest at the Royal Cemetery. 

HRH Prince Feisal, Tarawneh’s relatives, senior officials also participated in the funeral after performing the funeral prayer at the Royal Guards Mosque, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

Tarawneh, who passed away on Wednesday dawn, had contributed to serving the homeland through assuming several posts in many stages of the Kingdom’s history.

He assumed several ministerial posts, served as member of the Senate, and received several medals for his service.
