King arrives in Morocco, to hold talks today

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday arrived in Rabat in an official visit to Morocco upon an invitation from King Mohammed VI, a Royal Court statement said.
Upon arrival at the airport, His Majesty was received by King Mohammed and Prince Moulay Rachid.
Along the road through which the Royal motorcade passed, residents crowded the sidewalks to welcome His Majesty.
An official ceremony was held at the Royal Palace to receive the King, where the artillery fired a 21-gun salute and the Royal Jordanian and Moroccan national anthems were played.
At the palace, several civil and military senior officials and ambassadors received King Abdullah.
HRH Prince Ghazi, the King’s personal envoy and religious affairs adviser, Prime Minister Hani Mulki, Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh, National Security Adviser and General Intelligence Department Director Gen. Faisal Shobaki, HRH Prince Talal, the King’s special adviser, and National Policies Council Rapporteur Abdullah Wreikat accompanied the King.
His Majesty is scheduled on Thursday to hold talks with King Mohammed VI, in which they will discuss bilateral ties and regional developments.
HRH Prince Feisal was sworn in as a regent.
