Justice minister, French ambassador discuss legal cooperation

AMMAN — Minister of Justice Bassam Talhouni on Monday met with the French Ambassador to Jordan Veronique Vouland to discuss cooperation in the legal fields, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
According to a ministry statement, Talhouni stressed the depth of Jordanian-French relations, and the importance of continuing bilateral work in all fields. Vouland praised the bilateral ties, expressing hopes to increase legal cooperation with Jordan and maintain coordination in various fields.
Jordan has signed several agreements with France pertaining to legal aid and extradition, and a number of multilateral legal agreements within the framework of the United Nations.
