JTB presents tourism opportunities to Norwegian audience

AMMAN — The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) on Wednesday participated in a workshop introducing tourism opportunities in the Kingdom, which was organised by the Jordanian embassy in Norway in cooperation with Protocol 47, a Norwegian luxury travel and diplomatic services company, according to a JTB statement.
Jordanian Ambassador to Norway Janti Qalajoqa, in the presence of Chairman of the Jordan Investment Commission Khaled Wazani and the staff of the Jordanian embassy in Oslo, noted the importance of the tourism sector to the national economy and its contribution to sustainable development in the Kingdom.
For his part, JTB Assistant Director General Yazan Khudair presented a detailed review of the Jordanian tourism product, affirming the board’s keenness to increase the number of tourists from the Scandinavian region.
