JREEEF wins 2021 WeMed Mediterranean Sustinability Award

AMMAN — The Jordan Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fund (JREEEF) at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources won the 2021 WeMed Mediterranean Sustainability Award under the category of public authorities.

In a press statement on Saturday, JREEEF said that the WeMed Award is granted to contributors to raise awareness of sustainable entrepreneurship as a main driver for the transition towards the “green and blue circular economy (BCE)” in the Mediterranean region, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The WeMed Award is divided into two categories, the first is Sustainable Business Models and the second is Public Authorities.
