Jordan’s trade balance deficit with Turkey up by 22.3% in 2021 — DoS

AMMAN — The Kingdom's trade balance deficit with Turkey increased in 2021 by 22.3 per cent to some JD421 million, compared with JD344 million in 2020, the Department of Statistics (DoS) announced on Wednesday.
Foreign trade date released by DoS showed that the value of national exports to Turkey in 2021 increased to JD69 million, compared with JD53 million in 2020, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Kingdom's imports from Turkey in 2021 increased to some JD490 million, compared with JD397 million in 2020. Fertilisers, food industries, lead and its products and plant products are top Jordanian exports to the Turkish market.
