Jordanian urban development firm runner-up at 14th Arab Towns Organisation Awards

AMMAN — Jordan's Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDC) won second and third place in the 14th Arab Towns Organisation awards. The results were announced at a press conference held at the awards headquarters in Doha, Qatar. In the Creative City category, which saw five entries, the HUDC secured second place, while in the Excellence in Electronic and Smart Transformation category, which included six submissions from various Arab cities, the corporation placed third, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported, on Monday. The award encourages Arab cities to innovate and renovate while drawing inspiration from contemporary Arab-Islamic architecture. It focuses on preserving the identity and heritage of Arab cities, encouraging Arab engineers and planners to address environmental issues, and promoting green initiatives and urban beautification.
