Jordanian trucks stuck on Saudi border granted entry

AMMAN — The problem of Jordanian trucks stuck on the border with Saudi Arabia since last Thursday has been resolved, the Agriculture Ministry’s spokesperson, Nimer Hadadin, said Monday.

He added that 172 trucks laden with 3,400 tonnes of fruits and vegetables entered Saudi territory on Sunday. He also said that the delay was because the Saudi embassy in Amman had not sent the visas it stamped for the Jordanian drivers to the border checkpoint.
