Jordanian ministerial delegation heads to Baghdad

AMMAN — A Jordanian delegation comprising Minister of Public Works and Housing Yahya Kisbi and Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Maha Al Ali, and a number of officials and private sector representatives on Monday started a visit to Baghdad to discuss ways to advance economic cooperation between Jordan and Iraq.

In a statement, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the Industry Ministry said that the visit follows a recent trip by Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh and a number of ministers to Baghdad to explore broader areas of economic cooperation.

Representatives from the industrial and commercial sectors, the Jordanian Businessmen Association and the Contractors Association are also taking part in the talks.
