Jordanian-Iraqi investment forum discusses health sector

AMMAN — President of the Jordan Private Hospitals Association Fawzi Hammouri on Saturday reviewed health sector investment opportunities at the Jordan Investment Forum, held in participation with the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Hammouri noted that Jordan has 71 private hospitals with 35,000 direct jobs, 60,000 indirect jobs and an investment volume of over JD4 billion, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. He added that Jordan is known for its “large number of distinguished health personnel”.
Hammouri also said that the Dead Sea is considered to be the biggest natural health spa in the world.
