AMMAN — A Jordanian citizen was evacuated from Afghanistan on Friday, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
The ministry’s spokesperson Deifallah Al Fayez said that the ministry and the Kingdom’s embassies in Doha and Islamabad have followed up on the evacuation in coordination with Qatari authorities, which facilitated the citizen’s departure from Kabul to Doha on a Qatari plane.
Arrangements are under way to ensure the Jordanian evacuee returns safely to the Kingdom, he added.
