Jordan, Qatar anti-corruption bodies talk cooperation

AMMAN — The Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC) and Qatar's Administrative Control and Transparency Authority (ACTA) on Wednesday discussed ways of advancing cooperation.

During a meeting held in Doha, JIACC Chairman Muhannad Hijazi and ACTA President Hamad Bin Nasser Al Misnad agreed to prepare a memorandum of understanding and a cooperation agreement to be signed later, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

On Tuesday, on the sidelines of the second high-level meeting of the Global Judicial Integrity Network, Judicial Council President and Chairman of the Judicial Institute of Jordan Mohammad Ghazou met his Qatari counterpart Hassan Mohannadi over ties in the judicial sector, discussing means to enhance them.
