Jordan participates in OIC meeting

AMMAN — A Jordanian parliamentary delegation, headed by Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh, took part in the ninth session of the executive and permanent committees of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation in Tehran on Friday.
The delegation participated in the meeting of the permanent committee on Palestinian affairs.
Deputy Mustafa Amawi said participants called on all member parliaments to form permanent “Palestine committees” and ensure that educational curricula in their countries focus on the Palestinian issue.
He added that the committee urged Gaza rulers Hamas and the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah to resolve their differences.
