Jordan gears up for Fourth Universal Periodic Review on human rights

AMMAN — Representatives from various ministries and national institutions engaged in the preparation of the Kingdom's Fourth Universal Periodic Review on human rights held on Thursday a meeting to monitor the progress of discussions on the report. The report was presented to the Human Rights Council by Jordan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva Walid Obeidat. The meeting, held at the Foreign Ministry, aimed to provide support and assistance to the official delegation participating in the review session by providing them with additional information to enhance their interventions and address comments made by Member States during the session, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
