Jordan, Egypt talk health cooperation

AMMAN — Jordan's Ambassador to Egypt Amjad Adaileh and Egyptian Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar on Sunday discussed a number of shared issues related to bolstering cooperation in the field of health between the two countries.
During a meeting in Cairo, Adaileh and Abdel Ghaffar highlighted the “deep-rooted” bilateral relations and coordination in various fields, notably in the health sector, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Both sides also discussed mechanisms of enhancing coordination with the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Research to offer the Jordanian medical students studying in Egyptian universities an opportunity to receive training in the hospitals of the Egyptian Ministry of Health.
Regarding pharmaceutical industries and the signed agreements, talks went over expanding the registration of Jordanian medicines with professional bodies in Egypt, as well as the inclusion of Dead Sea products in the list of these industries.
