Jordan celebrates World Day of Remembrance and Arab Traffic Week

AMMAN — The chief of the Aqaba Governorate Public Security Department (PSD) administration, Firas Subat, on Sunday said that 894 accidents caused the death of seven people and injured 225 people in the first quarter of 2019.
He also pointed to the efforts of the PSD to reduce traffic accidents during the celebration of the World Day of Remembrance and the Arab Traffic Week, held in Aqaba.
Subat added that the PSD is working on raising awareness through workshops and seminars on how to deal with traffic signs and to drive safely, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
