Jordan, Bahrain discuss boosting military cooperation

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat on Wednesday received Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force Lt. Gen. Theyab Al Noaimi and an accompanying delegation, highlighting the depth of Jordanian-Bahraini fraternal relations.

During the 16th meeting for the joint Jordanian-Bahraini higher committee for military cooperation, the two sides discussed enhancing military cooperation and coordination between the two countries to serve their interests.

Talks also went over the latest regional and international developments, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. A number of senior armed forces officers attended the meeting.
