Joint Jordanian-Saudi drill ‘Sahab 4’ kicks off

AMMAN — The joint Jordanian-Saudi drill “Sahab 4” kicked off on Sunday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The drill, in Saudi Arabia, aims to exchange expertise and enhance cooperation in various areas, mainly in field of countering terrorism, said the head of the Jordanian delegation, Col. Khaled Al Shamila.
The joint exercise also seeks to enhance preparedness and response levels of participating troops, notably in the field of weapons of mass destruction, in addition to unifying military concepts among the units of armed forces and medical services, Shamila added.
Saudi Drill Director Brig. Gen. Moqbel Bin Mohammad Al Harbi said that the drill includes theoretical and practical exercises.
