JIC chief, Korea envoy talk ways to boost trade, investment

AMMAN — Chairman of the Jordan Investment Commission (JIC) Khaled Wazani and Korean Ambassador to Jordan Lee Bom-yon have discussed means to enhance cooperation in the fields of investment and trade. 

During the meeting, Wazani reviewed the main investment opportunities available in the Kingdom, as well as the integrated services provided to businesspeople, according to a JIC statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, on Thursday. 

The statement also highlighted the JIC’s readiness to provide “all facilitations” and services for Korean companies wishing to invest in the Kingdom. 

Lauding the government and the JIC’s efforts towards enhancing the Kingdom’s investment environment, the Korean envoy stressed that the embassy will invite Korean businesses to invest in Jordan, noting that coordination in this arena will be through the JIC, according to the statement.
