AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) on Thursday dispatched a humanitarian aid convoy to Gaza.
JHCO Chairman HRH Prince Rashed praised the continuity of aid sent to the Gazans, noting that conditions in the coastal enclave necessitate greater assistance.
He said this convoy is the first of many, including one that will carry medical assistance worth $1 million in cooperation with Hikma Pharmaceuticals Plc.
The JHCO is the only accredited national body to send aid to the besieged enclave, the prince said.
