JHCO receives Kuwaiti aid for Palestinians

AMMAN — The Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) on Wednesday received a Kuwaiti plane carrying humanitarian aid to be delivered to the Palestinians.

JHCO Secretary General Hussein Al Shibli said that the food and baby milk will be sent to associations in the Gaza Strip. As for medical supplies, coordination will be made with Al Makassed Hospital in Jerusalem to meet the Palestinian Ministry of Health’s needs.

Shibli also expressed appreciation for Kuwait efforts towards supporting the Palestinians amid the current circumstances, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan Aziz Al Daihani lauded JHCO’s efforts in delivering the Kuwaiti aid to beneficiaries, noting that the gesture comes in support of Jerusalem and the Palestinian cause.

This aid made available through the Kuwait Relief Society.
