‘JD100 prize to be awarded for rangers who arrest violators of forest resources’

AMMAN — Jerash Governor Raed Adwan has announced a JD100 prize for any ranger who arrests violators of forest resources, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Sunday.
During a meeting with the forest monitoring personnel in Jerash, Adwan stressed the importance of rangers’ role in monitoring attacks and violations on forests.
Adwan said that he “stands by the demands of rangers and supports them with all available logistical capabilities”. The governor said he will meet with the agriculture minister to discuss the challenges facing rangers.
