AMMAN — The president and members of the Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA) on Saturday met with a delegation from the Business Executives for American National Security Group (BENS) over enhancing cooperation, with talks covering various investment opportunities available to both countries. Stressing the "solidity" of Jordanian-American relations, JBA President Hamdi Tabbaa highlighted the role of the bilateral free trade agreement in boosting economic and trade relations between the two countries, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Tabbaa also expressed the private sector’s keenness to further optimise the agreement, such as exporting services in the construction, contracting and IT fields. The association president also reviewed available investment opportunities like the national carrier project, pharmaceutical industries, the IT sector, food industries, medical care, medical tourism, and projects in the industrial and development zones. BENS is a nonprofit, nonpartisan US-based network of business and industry executives who apply best business practices to address security challenges facing the United States.
