AMMAN — The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) carried out on Monday two airdrops, delivering vital food and aid to multiple locations in the Gaza Strip.

The first in nearly two months, the operations, which targeted regions that have been difficult to reach by land convoys, were carried out by two Royal Jordanian Air Force C130 aircraft laden with much-needed relief supplies to support the residents of Gaza amidst the ongoing Israeli war on the Strip.

According to an army statement, the JAF reiterated its commitment to continuing the flow of humanitarian and medical aid through land convoys, in partnership with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO).

Field hospitals in both the northern and southern regions of Gaza remain active, providing essential medical and humanitarian services to the locals.

The field hospital in Nablus, along with surgical units in Jenin and Ramallah, also continues to receive patients, offering care across various medical specialties.

The JAF has conducted 119 airdrops since the start of the Israeli war on the besieged Gaza Strip, in addition to 266 airdrops that were conducted by the army in collaboration with other countries.
