Iraq, Qatar express condolences over victims of Aqaba gas leak

AMMAN — Prime Minister Bisher Al Khasawneh on Tuesday received condolence letters from his Iraqi and Qatari counterparts Mustafa Al Kadhimi and Sheikh Khalid Bin Khalifa Bin Abdul Aziz Al Thani over the victims of the Aqaba port's gas leak incident. Kadhimi expressed solidarity with Jordan over this "tragic accident", stressing the “strong relations” between the countries and lauding Jordan's ongoing support for Iraq, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Sheikh Khalid expressed his solidarity and support for Jordan, underscoring the “brotherly and deep-rooted” relations between the nations.
