Interior ministry launches weekly open day for investors

AMMAN — Interior Minister Mazen Faraiah on Tuesday announced allocating a weekly open day to meet investors at the Ministry of Interior and receive their feedback, in a way that contributes to facilitating their work, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During a meeting with the Board of Directors at the Amman Chamber of Commerce, investors and representatives of trade unions and associations, Faraiah stressed the government’s readiness to facilitate, process and meet the concerns voiced by Jordanian and non-Jordanian investors, in accordance with laws and regulations.
Stressing the need to bolster partnerships with the private sector, the Interior minister highlighted measures undertaken by the ministry to facilitate obtaining residency and citizenship by non-Jordanian investors, adding that the ministry also opened border crossings to ease trade with neighbouring countries in a manner that serves the interest of the national economy.
