Interior Ministry keen on optimising business environment — Hammad

AMMAN — Royal directives focus on providing all possible facilitations for investors and providing them optimal business environment, as businesspeople are the major source of the national economy, Interior Minister in the caretaker government Salameh Hammad said on Tuesday.
In press statements, the interior minister said that upon several calls of investors from neighbouring countries, who wish to move their businesses to the Kingdom, the ministry is proceeding with providing facilitations in the sectors included in the Investment Law, highlighting the ministry's endeavours aimed at saving investors time and efforts and keeping abreast of the new requirements of an attractive investment environment.
Hammad added that, as per His Majesty King Abdullah's directives, the ministry is working on easing measures, offering facilitations that ensure establishing investments in the Kingdom and removing all technical and administrative obstacles hindering productive projects.
