Interior minister meets Qatari official, urges monthly reports from governors

AMMAN — Interior Minister Ghaleb Zu’bi on Monday discussed bilateral cooperation with a Qatari police delegation headed by Maj. Gen. Abdullah Yousuf Al Maal, legal adviser to the minister of interior and vice chairman of the Qatar Police College, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Zu’bi and Maal stressed the importance of preserving Arab national security.
Also on Monday Zu’bi chaired a meeting with administrative governors, instructing them to submit monthly reports on the state of affairs in their governorates and the most significant challenges facing them. The measure is aimed at enabling the government to work out solutions to these issues as they arise, Petra reported.
