Interior minister calls on security personnel's patience with protests

AMMAN — Interior Minister Samir Mubaidin on Saturday called on security agents to remain patient and respect citizens' rights during public protests.
Mubaidin made the remarks as he paid a field visit to security personnel, accompanied by directors of security apparatuses, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The minister expressed his gratitude for all security personnel's "exceptional efforts" during the recent demonstrations, and praised their commitment to orders that were issued to guarantee the safety of participants.
He also highlighted the importance of dealing firmly with any attempt to break the law and cause damage to public and private property.
