AMMAN — Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Saleh Kharabsheh on Sunday said that initial results of experiments on silica samples extracted from Dabbet Hanout/Ras Al Naqab showed a maximum purity rate of 99.62 per cent, and work will continue to reach rates higher than 99.99 per cent.
Kharabsheh said that the results are part of three paths that the ministry launched in early February to reevaluate raw silica reserves as per requirements and needs of the global market within purity rates higher than 99.9 per cent, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He also stressed that the ministry provides investors with these results once they are announced.
