Infographic: Level of trust in national institutions

AMMAN — Security agencies are the national institutions most trusted by the public, according to a recent survey by the Centre for Strategic Studies (CSS).

The survey, conducted between January 18 and 25 with a sample size of 1,824 respondents, found that 94 per cent of the polled Jordanians trust security agencies.

The judiciary came in second place, with 55 per cent of the respondents saying they trust the judicial branch of government, while 51 per cent said they trust imams and religious scholars.

Parliament and political parties came in last place, with 24 per cent and 14 per cent respectively, according to the CSS.
