IMF regional head to visit Jordan in July

AMMAN — The director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Middle East and Central Asia department is scheduled to visit Jordan in July, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Thursday. During his first visit since his appointment, Jihad Azour is scheduled to meet several officials, economic experts and journalists. Jordan is currently associated with the IMF extended facilitation programme for the years 2016-2018, which came after the 2012-2015 programme, according to the credit readiness programme.
