IMF official visits Experts Society of Income and Sales Tax

AMMAN — Rob Woods, Technical Adviser at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), on Monday visited the Experts Society of Income and Sales Tax and discussed with its members international practices in implementing tax policies and the best international standards followed in the field.
The meeting focused on strengths and weaknesses while implementing laws and a comparison between the Kingdom’s income tax mandatory legislations and other countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Society members presented proposals on mandatory legislations and means of dealing with them.
