ICT Ministry, Huawei conclude technology training programme

AMMAN — The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has concluded its second training programme in cooperation with Huawei, which saw the dispatch of IT managers from several ministries to the company’s headquarters in China, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Titled “Seeds for the Future”, the programme aimed to provide Jordanian officials with workshops on the latest technologies and expertise in their field.
ICT Minister Majd Shweikeh attended the closing ceremony, which was held in the presence of Chinese Ambassador in Amman Pan Weifang and a number of Huawei senior leadership.
The training programme was part of the MoU signed by the government and Huawei during His Majesty King Abdullah’s visit to China at the end of 2015, Petra added.
