House speaker, Cassation Court head discuss cooperation

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh and President of the Court of Cassation Mohammad Ghazo on Sunday discussed cooperation between the Lower House and the judicial authority, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Tarawneh noted that the House will start discussing legislation related to the outcomes of the Royal Committee for the Development of Judiciary and the Rule of Law during the next extraordinary session. For his part, Ghazo stressed the relation between the Judicial Council and the House, adding that the legislations will “positively affect” the judiciary.
