AMMAN — HH Prince Mired Bin Raad, president of the Higher Council for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities and Abdel Razzaq Arabiyat, managing director of the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB), on Monday signed a cooperation agreement with the Nadd Alshiba PR and Event Management company.
The agreement is part of preparations for the third round of Dubai Ashab Al Hemam (People with Determination) Expo in November to tackle issues that face people with disabilities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Jordan is scheduled to participate in the expo, which will take place at the Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre on the sidelines of the Accessible Tourism International Summit.
The Kingdom will be allocated a wing in the expo to showcase its achievements in this field. The wing will allow national institutions to showcase their efforts to empower people with disabilities and exchange experience with other countries. The expo is estimated to host 8,000 people.
