AMMAN — The Ministry of Health on Wednesday launched an application under the name “Aman” (“Safety”), which alerts users when they are suspected of having been exposed to COVID-19 and when they have been in contact with a person who is infected.
The app aims to ultimately stop the chain of infections more quickly, the ministry said in a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The statement noted that using the app is “a humanitarian and moral obligation” towards the Kingdom and others.
