Hanandeh meets Palestinian, Yemeni IT ministers

AMMAN — Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Ahmad Hanandeh on Thursday met Palestinian Minister of Communication and IT Ishaq Seder and Yemeni Minister of Communications and IT Najeeb Mansour Al Auj.

The guest ministers participated in the Artificial Intelligence Defence Technology and Cyber Security Exhibition and Conference (AIDTSEC 2021), which was launched on Wednesday at the King Hussein Convention Centre at the Dead Sea, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

According to a ministry statement, talks during the meeting went over means of operationalising mutual partnerships with the two countries.

Hanandeh expressed keenness to bolster bilateral ties with the two sides, notably to implement joint projects in this field. The two ministers expressed thanks for being invited to the expo, lauding the Kingdom’s advanced communications and IT sector.
