Gov’t delivers first humanitarian aid convoy to palestinian counterpart in Ramallah

AMMAN — The Jordanian government on Sunday delivered to the Palestinian counterpart the first humanitarian assistance convoy in Ramallah. The convoy consists of trucks loaded with wheat and will be followed by a second convoy carrying grain and medicine once logistic arrangement conclude, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The convoy is part of the humanitarian assistance that the government, in implementation of His Majesty King Abdullah’s directives, has allocated to assist the Palestinian people in the dire situation they are going through. The assistance consist of 45,000 tonnes of wheat and grains and seven trucks loaded with medicines and medical supplies, which will be delivered once logistic arrangements are finalised.
