AMMAN — The first phase of the Golden Triangle Logistic City is now operational, providing 115,000 square metres (sq.m) of external storage yards and 25,000sq.m of internal storage spaces, Golden Triangle Investment Company General Manager Obaid Yasin said on Saturday during a press conference.
The city includes a specialised centre for customs operations like shipment, clearance and banking, he said, noting that the yards and storage areas contain dangerous materials and provide rewrapping services.
He added that the Golden Triangle Logistic City also provides a network of roads with safe parking areas that limit traffic accidents and ensure the safety of people and goods, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The company in Aqaba implemented the Golden Triangle Logistic City project with an investment of over JD20 million based on the best international practices, Petra added.
