Ghanimi meets with Iraqi community representatives

AMMAN — Iraqi Interior Minister Othman Ghanimi on Sunday met with representatives of the Iraqi community in the Kingdom and checked their conditions and the challenges facing them during a meeting organised by the Iraqi embassy in Amman.

Iraqi Ambassador to Jordan Haidar Al Athari highlighted the mission’s efforts, in cooperation with the Iraqi Ministry of Interior, notably the department of passports, residence and borders, towards easing Iraqi nationals’ residency and travel issues, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. 

Ghanimi gave assurances to send a team from the ministry to Jordan to address all obstacles relating to the department of civil status, passports and residence.
