AMMAN — Under Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) regulations, sanitation workers will work three seven-hour shifts during Ramadan.
The shift system ensures that sanitation services are available during iftar time and after the Taraweeh prayer, according to a GAM statement.
Working hours for other GAM staff members are from 9:30am until 3pm, while health monitoring teams will work from 10am until 1am in three shifts.
Road maintenance workers will work around-the-clock in accordance with the need defined by the head of each department, the statement said.
