GAM, food bank launch 2015 winter campaign

AMMAN – The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), in cooperation with Jordanian Food Bank, launched its 2015 winter campaign on Monday in Amman's Hashemi area.

The drive, which will wrap up on April 4, is expected to benefit 3,000 underprivileged families.

It includes distributing foodstuff and heating supplies to targeted beneficiaries, according to a GAM statement sent to The Jordan Times.

At the launch ceremony, 30 families received aid.

Organisers are also receiving cash donations on account number 649242 at Cairo Amman Bank or 46487 at the Jordan Islamic Bank.
