Former MP Yacoub Zaiadeen passes away

AMMAN — Yacoub Zaiadeen, a politician, unionist and author, passed away on Sunday.
He was 95 years old.
Born in Samakeieh in Karak, Zaiadeen completed his secondary education in Salt from where he moved to Damascus to study law.
He later changed his major to study medicine in Beirut.
Afterwards, he worked as a surgeon in Jerusalem where he was elected as a lawmaker representing Jerusalem.
Zaiadeen was secretary general of the Jordanian Communist Party and a deputy in the 1956 Lower House.
