AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi considered the targeting of a humanitarian convoy belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in Gaza by the occupation forces a war crime.

On Sunday, Israeli occupation forces heavily fired on an UNRWA convoy heading to Gaza City.

In a tweet on the "X" platform, he said on Monday, "Gaza has not only become a graveyard for children. It has become a graveyard for international law, a shameful stain on whole international order."

He emphasised the importance of protecting UNRWA, humanitarian agencies, and their workers from Israeli occupation forces.
