AMMAN — In implementation of Royal directives, the Foreign Ministry on Tuesday announced that the Kingdom had dispatched an aircraft affiliated with the Royal Jordanian Air Force to transfer Jordanian citizen Yara Dababneh to receive treatment at the King Hussein Medical Centre in Amman.

Dababneh works for the UN Department of Safety and Security in Gaza and was injured during an attack on a UN vehicle in Rafah on Monday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Sufian Qudah said that the ministry had followed up on Dababneh's health condition with the department and transferred her to Jerusalem.
