The museum, which had been closed for five years for maintenance and renovation, houses a collection of items illustrating traditional life in Jordan over 150 years, including Bedouin tents, music instruments and weapons.
Fayez said the museum gives an idea of traditions in different eras and the way of life back then. Department of Antiquities Director Munthir Jamhawi said the museum will be open from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week.
